Located on the Fanad Peninsula and the Wild Atlantic Way, these hidden gems are only accessible by kayak. Kayak along the 2nd Most Beautiful Beach in the World to the Knockalla Sea Cliffs. Nature watching for Bird Colonies, Seals and Dolphins, while taking in the views of the giant sea cliffs and caves. Hidden in plain sight from all but the sea, a full-size fishing vessel shipwrecked in a giant cave. The 15 Meter horizon fishing vessel ran aground at 3:30am on March 5th 2008 near Saldana Point, the sea conditions and giant cliffs made it almost impossible to rescue the crew from the stricken craft by life boat. However, with the work of Sligo based Irish Coast Guard Helicopter, all 7 crew were winched to the safety of the helicopter in the darkness of night, while hovering close to the 60 feet high cliffs for 50min. The kayak tour has a very unique view of Lough Swilly and the many mirror like image caves and inlets. Returning along Knockalla beach, stretching 5KM from Portsalon Pier. €45pp
