This magnificent beach is just 15 minutes’ drive from us and stretches for miles, from Knockalla Hill to Portsalon. Ballymastocker Bay is a must-visit Donegal destination all year round whatever the weather.

Rathmullan beach which bore witness to one of the most significant events in Irish history in 1607 – the Flight of the Earls – is just 10 minutes’ drive from the hotel. Located on the western shores of Lough Swilly looking across its waters towards the hills of Inishowen. It has a 3km long sandy beach which is very popular with walkers throughout the year. Whether you're looking for beautiful seaside views, a day out with the kids or a romantic evening walk on the beach with your other half, Rathmullan is the perfect choice. The beaches at Rathmullan are safe for swimming and for enjoying water sports - Rathmullan's Sailing and Water Sports School also operates on the beach. Downings Beach is located in the village of Downings  in the Gaeltacht area on the Rosguill Peninsula of County Donegal. Downings takes pride of place in the sheltered Sheephaven Bay that hosts a diverse range of other beaches. The beach is particularly popular with Windsurfers, providing excellent opportunities for enthusiasts at all levels. A busy beach in the peak season, perfect for a family day out or extended stay.

Murder Hole Beach -  Boyeeghter Strand or Boyeeghter Bay, commonly known as Murder Hole Beach, is a beach situated on the Melmore head peninsula beside Downings in County Donegal, Ireland. It has cliffs, hills, dunes, and small caves. When the tide is in there are two beaches, which merge into one when the tide is out
