Ballyliffin Golf Club was home to the 2018 Irish Open and is widely regarded as one of the must-play golf complexes in all of Ireland.

There are two fantastic, yet contrasting links courses, The Old Links and Glashedy Links, with 36 holes that will test even the most seasoned of golfers.

Rory McIlroy said: “Ballyliffin’s two courses are a must play on any golf trip to Ireland”

The setting with panoramic views is truly unforgettable - taking in some of the most majestic and rugged coastal beauty you are likely to witness anywhere in the world.

The Old Links which was recently upgraded by golf legend Nick Faldo and his design team provides an enjoyable test of skill for every golfer.

The new Glashedy Links which was developed by Pat Ruddy and Tom Craddock.

Known as one of the greatest golf architects of modern times, Pat Ruddy, played a major role in developing what’s been described as a masterpiece at Ballyliffin. The Glashedy Links – which overlooks Glashedy Rock just offshore in the raging North Atlantic - is packed with magnificent sand dunes and is rated among the best links courses in the world.

The Glashedy Links has played host to many high-profile golf events in recent years including the Irish Inter-provincial Championships, the European Tour, North West of Ireland Open, the Ladies European Tour, Ladies Irish Open and the European Tour Dubai Duty Free Irish Open. The Old Links has hosted the European Seniors Tour in June 2008 - The Irish Seniors Open.
